Commission Order T&Cs
Please read the terms and conditions below and confirm acceptance before STK Design can start on your commission order.
By placing an order with STK design you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Acceptance:
It is not necessary for the Client to have signed any document for these terms and conditions to apply. It is deemed that the Client has satisfied themselves to the terms and conditions herein and has accepted them in full
Therefore, please read these Terms & Conditions carefully, if you proceed with any commission or use our service this implies you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Quotations:
Quotes are provided based on your communication and are valid for a period of 30 days. If you do not proceed with your commission order within 30 days STK design reserves the right to alter, or to refuse to honour a quotation.
Deposit:
STK design require a 20% deposit from Clients to confirm a commission slot. In some instances this can be as high as 50% depending on additional costs involved. This deposit is always non refundable.
Payments:
Once the commission is complete, payment will be required before collection/delivery. Payment is due within 60 days of the commission completion. STK design will not guarantee the item's availability if payment has not been received before 60 days as items can not be stored indefinitely. Your commission may be sold on to other Clients if you fail to make payment within 60 days. Collection/Delivery must not take place until full payment is received.
STK design accept the following payment methods:
Bank Transfer
PayPal
Credit/Debit Card
Cash (only if collecting in person)
Cancelling your Commission
If the Client chooses to terminate the services of STK design after agreeing a commission and paying their deposit, but before the project is complete, STK design will retain any non refundable deposits paid.
Should the Client cancel the commission agreement after the project is completed, for any reason* STK design reserves the right to charge up to 85% of the total projected cost.
*Handmade Commissions
STK design offer no guarantees that commissions will be completed within a set time frame, or that the results will be as expected. These are handmade items and the Client accepts the risk that a piece may not be exactly on time or as expected. If the Client is unhappy with the completed project, they can cancel the Commission and leave the item with STK Design, who reserves the right to charge up to 85% of the total projected cost.
Copyright:
Should the Client need a photo to be included in the commission, then the Client must have permission to use such photographs and it is their responsibility not to breach any copyright laws.
STK Design reserve the right to display photographs of your completed commission, as well as stages of the process, on their website, social media and for marketing purposes. If you are not happy with us doing that you must declare this upon placing the commission order.
